Getting a remap

What is the process?

The first appointment is made for pictures of the ECU label, VIN# and the reading of the stock tune. At this appointment our representative will field any further questions or concerns you may have.

The second appointment is made for the actual writing of the tune to your ecu and payment.

Alternatively, you can leave your vehicle overnight at our Partner's workshop instead of paying us 2 visits.

Mail In

Mail in customers need to provide a clear picture of their ECU label after removal. This can be found on the top of the ECU cover as shown below in the following pictures:

The customer will also need to provide a valid VIN# as this is very important as the IMMO system will not start the car if the incorrect information is given. Pictures can be emailed to tuning@vrlperformance.com

All mail in ECU's MUST be packaged with anti-static packaging (anti-static bubble wrap or an anti-static pouch) and care taken to protect the ECU pins.

Once the ECU is received, the process of read and write begins. You will be notified via email throughout the entire process of the status and also notification of any tracking numbers when it is shipped for return delivery.

As always, we are here to support you throughout the process so please do not hesitate to contact us along the way if you have any questions or concerns.
